Posted by Unknown on Monday, April 15, 2013

In the world of tattoo designs, there are thousands of potential tattoos to choose from. Each and every day, there are new designs added to studios and online tattoo websites. Tattoos are becoming more and more popular these days, making the designs all the more important. Although flowers and other designs are popular, graphic tattoos designs seem to be among the most common.
Graphic tattoos feature unique artwork, with most being more or less solid black, with no other colors. Experienced tattoo artists can normally do great work freehand, as it gives you the ability to make changes as he goes along. Some of the most popular designs with graphic tattoos include skulls and letters. Unique designs are also very popular, especially those that wrap around the arms or the back. Graphic tattoos can be put virtually anywhere on the body, just like any other tattoo. Depending on the tattoo design you have in mind, it may take quite a few hours before the artist has finished. With the larger tattoos, you may need to come back to have the work finished.

Dr Martens Tattoo Collection

Dr. Martens Tattoo Collection
It’s safe to say that after more than fifty years in business, Dr. Martens do not disappoint. What started as a small collection of boots and shoes has developed into a full blown menswear range that features everything from clothing to accessories, along with stores all over the world. The latest collection from this iconic brand is simply named ‘Tattoo’, and has dropped just in time for spring.
The collection sees the obvious return of the iconic 1460 boot and 1461 shoe but with noticeable differences. Retro inspired tattoo designs such as skulls, anchors and ships have been imprinted onto the shoes in bright, bold colours that will make the wearer effotlessly stand out from the crowd this season. Some of you may be thinking: “Why would I need to buy boots in spring?” But let’s face it, we’re in Britain and we shouldn’t try to kid ourselves.

Thankfully, the collection doesn’t stop here – two new leather satchels have also been released. The designs again take inspiration from classic tattoos, with each bag featuring various imprints similar to those seen on the footwear. Two gold fastening buckles grace the front of each bag, and the famous Dr. Martens logo finishes off these 11″ or 15″ satchels perfectly.
Every single item in the collection is available in black, red or brown. This palette was carefully considered as the design team wanted to produce a retro aesthetic that gave off an old-fashioned, back-to-basics, beginning of Dr. Martens feel.
Available online now at Dr. Martens and in all Dr. Martens stores.

Tattoo in the Chinese History

Posted by Unknown on Tuesday, March 26, 2013

Tattoo in the Chinese History, Tattoo is called "Wen Shen" or "Ci Shen" in Chinese. The term means literally "puncture the body".

Tattoo has been known and practised in China for many years. Many years ago, when a court finds a person guilty of a severe crime, it may order a tattoo be placed on his face, and bannishes him to a far-way place for a number of years. The tattoo on the face permantly marks the person as a criminal. The two-prone punishment is called "ci pei" (tattoo/exile).

tattoo ink

I know I already wrote post about black ink and color ink, but I have some more thoughts on it and want to share them. As I mentioned in my first black ink vs color ink post it is strictly a personal preference. I for one prefer black ink and I honestly don't know why. But I have also noticed something regrading black and color ink. Of course this doesn't apply to everyone but it does to some.

Okay, I have noticed that when people get tattoos they usually stay with strictly black ink or color ink. Take me for instance I have two tattoos and they are both done in black ink and If I get anymore tattoos than they will more than likely be in black ink as well.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt only have black tattoos as well as Megan Fox. But if you notice someone that has colored tattoos than more than likely all of their tattoos are colored. So I am just curious to why people are like this? I wonder why some people are more drawn to black ink, while other are drawn to color. To be frank I can't even answer that question because I fall into one of those category's. But it's just neat to notice different tattoo trends and patterns that people follow or fall into. I think it is safe to say I will probably never know the answer to this question but that's fine with me. I promise it won't be me up at night.
